New Year’s Meditation Retreat - KRIPALU
Moving Through Stillness
somatic meditations to support your new year transition
Sunday, Dec. 27th evening through Tuesday, Dec. 29th midday
KRIPALU retreat center (Stockbridge, MA)
Join this restorative weekend retreat full of practices to cultivate bodily ease, a centered mind, and a peaceful heart. Combining several forms of meditative and contemplative process, along with writing and reflection, you will be guided on a journey to reduce stress levels, tune into yourself with tenderness, and close out this year with the energy of embodied presence and renewal.
The turning of the new year asks us to look inwards and check in with ourselves. This program offers time and space to reflect, to forge meaning from the year that's ending, and let the language of your body speak through a guided somatic awareness process.
In this program, you will experience:
Meditation
Guided movement and body-centered practices
Time for reflection
A compassionate community to share your learnings
This retreat is suitable for all adults.
NOTE: Please wear clothing for movement and time on the floor, including layers for warmth. Please bring a notebook and pen.
*Some meditation experience is suggested, but all are welcome, including those for whom meditation has felt challenging in the past. Chairs will be provided for all participants, and no floor sitting is required.
